This One Is For Me

The diary I've never kept. An outlet when I need it. The blog that doesn't judge.

My hands search the dark
every morning when I wake,
trying to find you.

So I can’t decide which lifestyle I like better..

1) New York~ Marist College
—> Very few people are awake before 7:30. Almost every person walking to class is in their pjs, jeans, or sweats.
—> Everything opens mid- morning and closes after midnight.
—> People dress up for fashion class and have the motivation and determination to make it in the industry.

2) Colorado~ CSU
—> At 8am everyone looks so put together and it is very clear they have had a good breakfast, some coffee, and maybe even read the paper.
—> Everything opens so early, but closes before midnight.
—> Girls don’t even know what a merchandising major is and most likely only majoring it in because it’s “glamorous.” On top of that they dress very poorly.

I don’t know which one I like more. But I guess that’s the nice part, I don’t need to like one more, or even to chose. I get the best of both worlds. Currently, I live in Colorado, but I’ll be back in NY in no time. I know I wasn’t born in NY, but I just feel in my heart that’s where I belong. So for now I will make the best of my situation, go with the flow, and smile :)

Every day isn’t going to be a good one. Even flowers need as much rain as they do sunshine. You’re a flower, embrace the rain.
